Sigma has a whole lot of news at the PMA:
- Reintroducing the SD15 Foveon camera (showcased first in 2008!) featuring a 14MP Foveon X3 sensor, a 3.0″ 460k dot LCD, ISO 50-3200, 21 shot raw buffer at 3fps and 5 frame auto bracketing for HDR
- The new DP2s compact camera, a revised version of it’s DP2 featuring a 14MP FOVEON X3 sensor
- DP1x compact camera, a revised version of the DP1 large-sensor compact camera
- A new ultrawide zoom: Sigma 8-16/4.5-5.6 DC
- New Sigma 17-50/2.8 EX DC OS HSM
- New Sigma 85/1.4 EX DG HSM – a very interesting lens for all portrait shooters (and quite interesting for Nikonians as Nikons 85mm 1.4 lens is quite old)
- A stabilized version of the APO 70-200/2.8 EX DG OS HSM telezoom with promising specs: Sigma’s newly-developed FLD glass to reduce aberrations, 9-blade circular aperture, manual focus override.
- A stabilized version of the 50-500 ultra telezoom
