October 20th, 2009Canon has announced the new EOS-1D Mark IV and matches the ISO 102,400 offer of Nikons new D3s. The new EOS-1D features a new 45 point AF system probably fixing the issues of the past, a new 16 MP sensor, 10 fps continuous shooting and 1080p HD video capture. More details on the Canon homepage.

October 14th, 2009Nikon introduces a new version of its professional DSLR D3: the Nikon D3s features 720p HD video recording and an astonishing sensitivity of up to ISO 102,400. New Nikon AF-S DX Micro Nikkor 85/3.5G VR
October 14th, 2009Nikon unveiles a new DX Nikkor designed “for extreme close-up photography, yet perfectly suited for portrait, nature, and general imaging”, the Nikon AF-S DX Micro Nikkor 85/3.5G VR. It focuses as close as 0.9 ft. and gives 1:1 magnification.
