Nikon announces the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.4G prime lens:

  • weather-sealed magnesium alloy body
  • Silvent Wave Motor

Nikon announces the Speedlight SB-700 flash, a replacement for the SB-600 featuring a guide number of 38:

  • 3″ 921k dot LCD
  • RAW support

  • suggested price of $499
