The German photo magazine “Foto Digital” in an article has confirmed the rumors about four new Nikon lenses:
- AF-S 85/1.4 G with Nano coating for EUR 1650 (approx. USD 2100), 10 lens elements in 9 groups
- AF-S 24-120/4 G ED VR with Nano coating for EUR 1220 (approx. USD 1550)
- AF-S 28-300/3.5-5.6 G ED VR for EUR 1000 (approx. USD 1270), 19 lens elements in 14 groups
- AF-S DX 55-300/4.5-5.6 G ED VR for EUR 420 (approx. USD 530)

Sony has unveiled three new Alpha prime lenses:
- Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 24mm f2 SSM
- DT 35mm f1.8 SAM
- 85mm f2.8 SAM
The 85mm will sell for only EUR 250, the 35mm for only EUR 200. The 24mm will cost EUR 1200 – for the US there will be an additional announcement. Note: if the lenses are used on the NEX system using the adapter you can focus only manually.
Additionally there are rumors floating around that Sony is thinking about dropping full-frame sensors. Read an interesting and detailled analysis at the well respected site of Thom Hogan about this issue. We will see…

Sonys new HD camcorder NEX-VG10E features the 14.6 MP sensor of the Alpha NEX series and is the worlds first consumer HD camcorder with interchangeable lenses:

Tokina has announced a new wide zoom lens, the AT.X 16-28 mm /f2.8 PRO FX. They promise a new and quieter AF system with more precise focusing. The pricing is quite ambitious at USD 1400, the lens will be available both for Nikon and Canon DSLRs.
