March 31st, 2008Photozone reviews the Nikon AF-S 14-24/2.8: a phenomenal lens
January 26th, 2008Klaus Schroiff has posted a review of the new Nikon AF-S 14-24/2.8 lens on his respected Photozone site – and it looks good.
“The Nikkor AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8G ED N is a phenomenal lens. It is the sharpest ultra-wide angle lens tested to date. The resolution figures are simply stunning and unprecedented specifically at 14mm and that’s straight from the maximum aperture setting.”

Nikon AF-S 200mm f/2 G IF-ED
September 24th, 2007I have to begin my list of Nikons best lenses with the one I personally like the most, the famous Nikkor 200/2 lens. Compared to other tele primes it’s rather small and light (at least at 2,9 kg it’s lighter than other primes) and it’s bokeh is gorgeous. And the fast f/2.0 really help’s a lot when you are an available light fan like I am. Even with teleconverts the lens delivers good results. While far from cheap it’s worth every penny.

Bjørn Rørslett, famous for his lens reviews, shares my enthusiasm about the lens. Click here for his review.
