Adobe has released Lightroom 4 and made it much more affordable at $149 / 109 EUR. The new version adds:

  • Book creation
  • Soft proofing
  • Geo tagging using Google Maps
  • Improved support for videos
  • Support for new cameras like Nikon D4, D800, Canon EOS-1D X, PowerShot G1 X, PowerShot S100 and new Fujifilm cams

Canon EOS 5D Mark III

Canon announced the EOS 5D Mark III:

  • 22 Megapixel full frame sensor
  • 61-point autofocus
  • ISO 100 to 25,600
  • Full HD video
  • Up to 6 frames per second
  • Enhanced weather sealing

For $3500 not quite the Nikon D800 killer many Canon shooters expected.
